Senior Software Engineer
The Senior Software Engineer role requires a self-starter who can play a senior role on our embedded Linux software development team. In this role, you will be designing and developing software embedded in the Fluidnet infusion pump. As a senior developer on this team, you’ll be ask to take ownership for both designing and implementing components critical to the operation of the pump. You’ll be a member of a high performance development team that works closely and collaborative to achieve great results. Exceptional communication skills and a desire to work with others in a team environment are critical.
Essential functions:
- Design and develop embedded Linux software components running within the Fluidnet infusion pump.
- Develop embedded C++ software components and optionally UI components written in QT
- Engage in code reviews
- Review and engage in the development of software specifications compliant with our established quality system and design controls

Education and Experience Requirements:

- Bachelors in computer science or equivalent experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and desire to work collaboratively with others
- A minimum of five years of experience developing embedded code in C++
- Strong Object Oriented Design skills
- Strong understanding of development challenges associated with embedded, multi-threaded, real time Linux systems.
- Experience working with test driven design, especially Google Test and Google Mock
- Experience with QT, Boost libraries; design patterns; and IOC containers is a plus
- Experience working with embedded medical device software is also a plus
