Overall product weight is approximately 1 pound and overall size is just slightly larger than a 1Liter fluid container. The product automatically walks the operator through each setup step. The IV set can be gravity or machine primed. All fluid / drug containers are safely secured within the device once the door is closed.
Once the door is closed the device automatically determines the exact fluid volume contained thus eliminating the need for fluid volume guesswork and/or volume limit programming. On fully charged batteries the device will operate for up to 2 weeks @ 125ml/hr. To recharge simply hang the product on the pole hanger or locate in a desktop cradle. IV push and boluses can be automatically identified and tracked by the device.
Multiple pumps can be conveniently stacked vertically or horizontally requiring only slightly more space than the IV containers themselves. Glass bottles are easily accommodated using an in-line reservoir set. Large volume TPN bags are easily accommodated using an in-line reservoir set.
Smaller fluid volume versions of the product are ideally suited for homecare (ambulatory) infusion applications.
